Create the perfect buying list for florists: 5 steps
Creating a good and effective buying list is not always easy. With this step-by-step plan, you will quickly have a purchasing list with which you can purchase efficiently, limit your losses, and save money. Which in turn results in a better result!
Step 1: See what you still have in stock
Which fresh flowers and greenery do you still have in stock in your cooler? And how long can these be kept? Do you still have enough dried flowers in stock? Based on this you can see what else you need and with which products you can create your floral designs. This is how you use up that opened pack of dried flowers, or that box of tulips that you still had in the cold room. So less product wasted!
Step 2: Make a weekly plan
What assignments do you have planned for the near future? And which arrival days do you have available in the Holex webshop? Please note, that this may differ for your Holland department compared to the Miami department, and Holex Ecuador also may offer arrival days. Once you have identified what you need for your assignments and when this can be delivered, you create a clear overview for yourself.
Step 3: Check the offers and take your time
Take the time to create a good shopping list, so that everything you need is included. So also consider fillers, foliage, dried and painted products. Also check the offers from your suppliers in advance, so that you can perhaps stock up on something extra because it is on sale this week. Tip! You can easily make lists in the Holex webshop with the Favorites button (the heart). This way you won't forget them!
Step 4: Organize your buying list
To be able to easily place your necessary orders, it is useful to work with a buying list. You can then add products to this until you enter your order. Step 5: Make your list digital
