Veronica: everything you want to know

The playful plume of the Veronica is the most striking part of the flower. The flower is loved year-round as a bouquet filler, and thanks to the soft color, it is a winner for wedding work. Veronica was traditionally grown as a food source and for medicinal application. It was processed into a drink for the ailment of asthma. This medicine worked so quickly, that the flower was given the name Speedwell (prosper well).

A rich symbolism

Veronica flowers are associated with a range of meanings and symbolism, including fidelity, devotion, and perseverance. The flower’s name is also thought to be connected to Saint Veronica, who, according to Christian tradition, used her veil to wipe the face of Jesus on the way to his crucifixion.
